Annie and Jack's classic fall wedding in NYC at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, was the essence of a classic New York City celebration. It was a timeless, elegant, and luxurious wedding. This Upper East Side luxury wedding venue was the perfect place for their wedding day to unfold as it aligned with their wedding day vision seamlessly. The opulent event space where their reception unfolded was absolutely stunning. On top of that, its close proximity to Central Park and bustling streets allowed us to capture iconic NYC moments as well as the beautiful fall backdrop with rich autumn color lining the streets. Their black-tie wedding was both elevated and effortlessly New York.
The couple readied for their wedding day separately and waited to see each other until their wedding ceremony. This build up of anticipation was worth it, as you could tell by Jack’s reaction that he was blown away by the sight of his bride walking down the aisle in her stunning Pnina Tornai dress that fit the day perfectly.
After their traditional church wedding ceremony, the couple exited the church and took off in a classic car. We then captured their gorgeous wedding portraits around New York during peak fall foliage. With taxis passing and the soft, autumn light it created the perfect New York City fall wedding photos.
Elegant Reception at The Pierre Hotel
Once we explored the streets of New York and captured the most beautiful portraits, we headed to The Pierre Hotel, for a luxurious and elegant NYC wedding reception. Its grand interiors, impeccable service, and timeless design create the perfect setting for a refined black-tie reception.
As guests transitioned from the ceremony to the reception, the atmosphere shifted naturally into celebration leading to high energy and a full dance floor. To end the night, Annie and Jack changed wardrobes. Jack went with a sharp, white tux and black bowtie, while she changed into a reception dress that featured a white top connected to a black a skirt that was both chic and sophisticated.
