Black Tie New York Wedding in Midtown Manhattan
Kristin and Mike’s Lotte New York Palace Wedding was the definition of classic New York elegance. Set in the heart of Manhattan, the celebration blended timeless luxury with effortless energy. The day began with a traditional church ceremony at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, followed by an iconic reception at The Lotte New York Palace. Their day was the perfect blend of tradition and modern Manhattan style, resulting in a sophisticated New York wedding.
The stunning bride, Kristin, wore an Anne Barge wedding gown that included her and Mike’s initials along with their wedding date stitched into the gown. After getting ready, she stepped into a classic NYC yellow taxi to take her to St. Ignatius Loyola, one of Manhattan’s most breathtaking and historic churches. The grand architecture, soft natural light and stained glass windows created an incredibly timeless and emotional atmosphere as Kristin and Mike exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends.

Afterwards, we strolled the streets of New York City capturing the newlyweds amongst the energy and atmosphere of downtown. Yellow taxis passed by, skyscrapers towered overhead, and Kristin and Mike’s joy was undeniable.
Black Tie New York Wedding Reception at Lotte New York Palace
The celebration continued at The Lotte New York Palace, one of the most iconic venues for a black tie New York wedding.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, the venue’s historic interiors, classic New York detailing, and Renaissance-inspired architecture elevated the entire experience and created an elegant backdrop for the reception. The transition from ceremony to reception felt seamless, moving from the traditional romance of the church setting to a lively celebration filled with laughter, music, and a packed dance floor. The energetic, joyful atmosphere carried through to the after party.

Throughout the day, the focus was on capturing moments that felt natural, refined, and editorial while preserving genuine emotion and storytelling.
Rather than overly directing the day, the goal was to allow the setting and the couple’s connection to lead the story, creating imagery that feels timeless rather than overly staged. Between Kristin’s fashion-forward styling and the beautiful architectural backdrop of both St. Ignatius Loyola and The Palace, the imagery felt distinctly New York and effortlessly luxurious.
